Prophets or loonies... Recently I came across a deranged preacher on TV who warned us that we have just a couple of days left to repent before the end of the world. The exact date of our doom is Mai 21, 2012. Besides the fact that he looks like the evil man from Poltergeist. I cannot understand how so many believe in his predictions. Humanity must feel very guilty to believe that God has such a punishment in store that good and evil, young and old, will die under his wrath.

In my previous posts, I have written about Turkey and its history. The following is a 6 minutes video I would like to share with you. It will help to know the Turks better. January 12 - Haiti earthquake     On January 12, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake shook Port-au-Prince, Haiti, toppling buildings and destroying most of the country's infrastructure. The Haitian government estimated 230,000 people were killed, more than 300,000 injured, and more than one million people were left homeless.
